Please note this is the 3 phase unit and not the single phase circulating the net for apprx R27000, don't be fooled by various agents recommending specific battery types for specific inverters, its all nonsense, a battery will always be a battery and will always have a specific voltage attached to it and can be connect in series or parallel to achieve different wattages or amps. Offcourse the larger the inverter capacity the more batteries one will require however to achieve that capacity only. Hybrid inverters come with the a capability option where one can start small to deliver small wattages and build up to the max ratings due to cost factors of purchasing all at once being ridiculous currently. The quality and the way the battery is maintained is the only factor that can affect any power inverters capabilities and there is no such thing as special batteries!

These inverters are designed to run off the grid during the day and switch over to battery current at night, it can also feed the grid/or a grid all excess power
